Mike Fuller
Mike Fuller came to KRAI in 1996 as a news person and has
worked his way up to Program Director. He came from Lancaster,
Ca, but don't hold that against him. He's a small town resident
at heart. He started his career here, was married here, had
his kids here (there's 4 in all), and now has a strong suspicion
he will die here. He's a Texas Hold 'em junkie, and loves
the NFL and fantasy football (he's in 19 leagues so far).
You can catch him weekdays from 5am to 9am and 3pm to 7pm,
and Saturday's from 8am to 6pm. |
Frank
Hanel, Owner/Manager of KRAI has been involved in broadcasting
since 1971. Prior to purchasing 93.7 & 102.3 KRAI in 1989,
he worked for radio stations in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Kansas
City and at a number of small towns in Montana and Idaho.
A former Colorado Broadcasters Association "Broadcaster
of the Year", Frank has chosen to remain on-air and currently
host the "Oldies at Nine" weekdays on KRAI. |
Deanna
Romone was born in Roseville, California. Growing up with
two older sisters who listened to everything from Madonna
to the Cure, She discovered a love for music. Moving to Denver
at the age of 12 with her parents and not knowing anyone,
the radio became Deanna's summer buddy and she knew then that
she wanted to be on the airwaves. In high school between homework,
Saved By The Bell reruns, and going to live shows almost weekly,
Deanna started interviewing local bands for a local music
magazine. This drove here ambition towards radio even harder.
She realized one day that you have to go for what you really
want and put college on hold and enrolled at The Ohio Center
for Broadcasting. In August of 2005, Deanna landed her first
job at KRAI and loves it. When not at the radio station, she
likes to do crafts, play Tetris, read up on pop-culture, and
order pizza while watching the Colorado Avalanche. |
Carmel
Schiff was born and raised in South Florida. She has one
younger brother, one dog, and one bird back home in Cooper
City, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Music has been a part of
her life for as long as she can remember. In fact, she has
a bracelet that says, "Music = Life."
She has been playing piano since she was three, and she has
been listening to the radio since she was in the womb. While
attending the University of Colorado at Boulder, she volunteered
at the school's radio station, KVCU.
While at the station, she realized she wanted to pursue a
career in radio. In the summer of 2003, she interned at a
Top 40 radio station in Miami, WHYI. Carmel graduated from
CU-Boulder in May 2004. She landed her first radio job at
KRAI in February 2006, and she's very excited to be here.
When she's not at the radio station, she enjoys traveling,
taking pictures, doing karaoke, dancing, scrapbooking, playing
piano, and listening to her Ipod. |
